Remember that we carry the Merino Wool, Merino Silk, Sweetie Tweedie, & Baby Alpaca.  The Merino Wool and Merino Silk is the perfect replacement for Medicis.  All of these threads are wonderful threads to stitch with and fit beautifully on 24 count canvas as well as canvas as large as 12 count, and everything in between.  As a rule you will use 2 strands on painted 18 count canvas and 3 strands on unpainted 18 count canvas.  On 13 count painted canvas you will use 3 strands and 4 strands on unpainted 13 count canvas.

The Merino Wool, Merino Silk, & Sweetie Tweedie comes in 30 yard skeins.  The Baby Alpaca comes in 15 yard skeins.  The Merino Wool & Merino Silk will also come in 600 & 1200 yard balls for large projects and backgrounds.
